Default CRV Swap

Hey
My name is mike an i have a 98 EX with the stock engine. I am thinking of an engine swap and i was wondering if a CRV engine swap would be feasible. I have read of the CRV-Tec swaps, with a B20Z block and a Vtec head... say B18C1. Would this work, and would i be able to Turbo it safely? Does anyone have any links regarding this? And if this is the same as the LS/Vtec swap please tell me an i am sorry for wasting your time. Thanks

yea same thing asa ls vtec pretty much. Most people use a b16 head though. Welcome to HT and Try using the search function, its a great tool. (even better than a plasma cutter )

id say it is pretty good. i am a fan of building a motor before turboing it, but it is up to you. you might just want to do a stock b20z turbo if you arent planning on building the motor. i am not sure if many people do the stock b20 bottom end with the b16 head and turbo it. most people that ive heard of go NA. the b16 head will lower your compression a bit. the b20 stock has really low compression, which can be safer on a lesser tuned turboed motor.
