what makes it rice? Sounds like it's new from the factory with an optional OEM package.

We don't even know if he is an "enthusiast". He may just want a civic to drive and came onto a honda message board to ask if the price was right......

Re: is this good? (EG2 SiR)
def. go with a 5 speed. i dont think that price is to bad, but you can probably find it cheaper. you can get the Si brand for $13k or maybe less depending.

Re: is this good? (2004civicex)
Well if you have that much money to spend and want a Honda I would go with an SI, it will be a little older but hell it is an SI. Therefore you will have a 5 spd. The new Civics aren't exactly what you would call a good investment if you want to have a car that is even decently quick. So if you want a car that will be good on gas and stylish then go with this. If you want a car you can enhance performance wise then don't go with this vehicle, look elsewhere. Hope this helps.

go here and look at the pricing. They don't list any "sport package" to the pricing, so keep that in mind. Based on what I saw there the price seems a bit high. Since you have an internet connection deal with the internet sales person for your local dealer to get the best pricing.
