Crunch time! She's gettin turbo'd soon :)
Need some advice though! Ive decided to have the engine rebuilt (260k+ miles) and have it turbo ready...gona run a decent system on low psi (under 10). I asked how much a swap would cost (in my area, RI, racing isnt as widespread etc)...the shop owner said 4k total (including work ) Ahem.
He gets his engines locally though, and has realiability. I then showed him Osaka motors site, and how cheap their engines are. He said he would install mine if I bought from them for 1k (labor work)...so pretty much is Osaka 1) reliable when it comes to their engines and my money and 2) is the labor payment right? heh just makin sure

1000 sounds ok. depends on the area, and like you said if imports arent that popular there then it seems fair.
