I found a main how-to to help out, but I have a couple quick questions:

How do you d/c the cable from the actuator box (in the bay). I pulled back the rubber, but cant figure out how to get the cable loose. Second, do you need a "dead" plug for where the cable goes through the firewall?

you can get the plug from Honda. Not sure what else you're talking about. It should just be an electronic connection and a vaccum hose..

Theres a cable that connects to the actuator (same thing that the vaccum hose connects to - the cylindrical piece right infront for the right side shock tower). I cant get the cable d/c from that piece. The car is a 99 civic ex.

leave the cable connected to the cruise module. Just unbolt the whole thing, unplug it, and pull it out.

exactly Cap off the vacuum line too

to the OP do you mean that cable that goes from the gas pedal through the firewall and to the CC? I was looking at the gas pedal and it looks like you could disconnect it at the pedal.
