Cruise Control Removal "?"
Yea i've searched this forum, and clubsi, and PM'd alot of people. And yes searched the archived topics and refered to the helms manual........
<This is in a 99 Civic SI>
I got the 3 bolts removed. I got the vaccum on the intake plugged up, and removed the vacuum hoses, and i have the electrical connector off. But Help me!
The cable that goes through the firewall, the actuator cable.......
It connects to the top of the gas pedal. BUT, i can't get the f*##$ing thing off! It's a metal-cable that looks bolted on with a microscopic screw, how do you take this thing off??? Thanks guys, i'm just not having fun with it.

Re: Cruise Control Removal "?" (STEALTHMODECOUPE)
Just go to an autoparts store, and they have "Vaccum Plugs" i bought a set with like 8 different sizes, the exact size for the manifold read " 1/8 " but no actual unit of measurement.
I keep looking at the top of the pedal, i can't see how it's even possible to remove this thing people were telling me it's a switch....

Not nearly as easy as that. You have to bend the cable in a certain direction and slide it to one side. It's hard cause you can't see it. I just bend the thing holding it in up and pulled it out. Oh and he has a very good reason to bump the thread. He wants an answer and it's 100000000000x better than making a new thread.

thanks, I'll try that to see if i can get it off, I don't want to cut the cable and regret it later on.
and for the Ls_V_TurboSi, would you rather me post a new thread asking the same question, then have people flame on me for not searching? I did search, and I bumpped for an answer.
