Default Cruise Control Question

I was wondering if my car would throw a code if i were to remove the cruise control from my car........i dont think really like using it because it just defeats the purpose of driving stick imo but i dont want no engine light or codes poppin up due to it.....

Default Re: Cruise Control Question (SaLvAcIvIc97)

Defeats the purpose of a manual transmission how????????????? You use it primarily when you're cruising at a set speed for some distance, like at highway speeds.

Anyway, you will NOT throw a cel if you remove it. The ECU does not check the cruise control.
