Default Crossed over to the Dark Side

Well i installed my turbo kit last night (in 30 degree weather, till 6 in the morning) and it is in and done. Now i got some questions. I know im going to need a missing link, to get rid of the cel. But i have a FPR and vafc, and on the dancing light gauge (a/f) when everi hit boost it goes crazy lean. I zeroed out the vafc, and also the FPR is at like 50. Now i will be ideling and i can smeel the fuel but yet it is still on lean/stoich and when i boost it drops back down to lean. dose any one know why its doing this? should i get bigger injectors? its only a 7 psi

ya get some dsm's and some real engine management, hondata/uberdata. those will work 100x better than the v-afc, better yet sell the v-afc and get uberdata and have money left over, and have the ability to datalog

Yea i have been thinking of going Hondata, but funds are limited. And if i can get rid of the cel with the missing link then i will go that route.

Set your FPR back to stock, what is it 40 or so? And dont read the a/f until you get a wideband. Take your car over to a dyno as well.

Running a turbokit without management is just begging for problems. Don't half *** a project that requires quality to be safe and successful.

stock is 42psi. BTW your A/F gauge isnt reliable because its narrowband.

Greddy's Emanage is also a good one, and a better price.

dude if funds are limited go with uberdata:
Moates Uber1 Kit (for chipping ur ecu)=20 bucks
Eprom Burner=60
Nokia Cable for datalogging=15 (getting rarer)
Uberdata program=FREE

For a total of about 100 bucks you could tune ur car yourself, and have all the abilities of hondata, i think you know what the answer is...
