I have a b16a2 swap in my 96 EX and have had it for about a month. I had noticed an issue with the idle but it was always just a one time occurance that it didn't bother me. However today it started happening all the time and im worried its something important.

The issue im having is the idle wont idle... If I have the AC on the idle wants to drop to 800 and it starts to bog and it will go up to 1200 and start dropping again and it does this constantly when I got my AC on.

Also another issue im having is that randomly ill put the clutch in, and the gear in neutral and the RPM will stay at 3k RPM for several seconds and then drop. Its happening alot more now and I feel its just gonna keep getting worse. Any suggestions?

Try adjusting the throttle cable (3/8" - 1/2" slack) and cleaning the throttle body and IACV.

same problem just cleaned my iacv today and it still does it. i read somewhere that it can take a while after cleaning to return to normal. i had the same problem in my eg and i cleaned it and it idled properly.

Also reset your ecu when you do all these things to your car.
