crankshaft PULLEY NOT NUT stuck!!? safe way to press it off?
Finally got my crankshaft bolt off, but the pulley is stuck on there. I can see the key and all.
Is there a safe way to pull the pulley off? I'm afraid to hit it with a hammer or anything to loosen it.
Do I need to take out the key to take the pulley off? If i DO need to take the key out, how in the hell do you get it out? IT's flush and couldn't possibly grab it with plyers or anything.
Thanks!
Please help... cars apart in the middle of the yard!

Got it off using a pulley remover. Just put a washer in the center so I didn't mess up the threads or anything, and slowly pushed it off.
Thanks.
Now my next problem... water pump dowels from the old pump are stuck in the block. I drove out the dowels on the new pump, but it's too tight of a fit. Can't get the old dowels into the new one. DAMN IT! I swear nothing is easy and nothing EVER goes perfectly. Guess i'll get an aluminum drill bit tomarrow and drill it out a bit.
Thanks.

I tried and tried, but I started to get afraid i'd just damage them so badly, i'd never get them out, not be able to use them, and then be in a WORLD of trouble. Honda sure did put WP's in a GREAT place! lol
