crankshaft pulley bolt
ok guys. I got tired of screwing around with methods to unfasten the crankshaft pulley bolt so I went and bought the Moroso Cranshaft pulley remover. The only problem that I see is that I tried to put the remover on the crankshaft pulley and the frame of the car was in the way and I couldn't reach it. Does anyone have any suggestions to allow me to reach the bolt. The problem is that the width of the pulley remover is too big to fit in the allowed space. All suggestions are appreciated.

Re: crankshaft pulley bolt (KAMiN)
I appreciate the reply, but sorry no hoist. If I were to loosen the motor mounts on that side do you think it would give me a little of more room

Re: crankshaft pulley bolt (94civicx)
yea that might help... just make sure you support a jack right underneath your oil pan (put a book on it so you won't dent the oil pan) and then unscrew the driver side engine mount, then slowly lower the engine down slightly... The engine would stil be able to support itself without that driver side engine mount, just dont let it hang like that overnight or something like that.
