couple questions regarding struts/springs
what spring rate can tokico illuminas handle up to?
also, what spring rate for the rear would go good with a 330 front spring rate?
front is 8" x 2.5" x 330
my current rear setup is 7" x 2.5" x 250 (OTS GC kit)

Info like what the car is and what you do with it would be helpful. too much void here to tell anything plus it is completely leaving out anything to do with personal preference.

Re: couple questions regarding struts/springs (CRX Lee)
this is on a EK hatch, 205/45/16 wheels, 22mm ITR rear sway w/beaks, 26mm front Si sway. i want the car to handle really well. with my GC setup, it was ok but i was riding on bumpstops in the front for some reason. it was only lowered enough to eliminate the wheel gap. i purchased a set of H&R race springs and that just slammed my car. rubbing everywhere and noises. so i'm going to throw my GC back on but wanted to upgrade the rear to a stiffer spring. the fronts are at 330 already, which is kinda good (isnt it?). i just think my rear is way too soft - 250. i do not autox at all. its mainly a street car. i may autox with some friends occasionaly tho.
i was looking into a F 330 R 400 setup that way i only need to buy a set of new/used rear springs.

Springs too soft or the ride height was too low...

Not really a worthwhile measurement in suspension setup

If you're bottoming out, its too soft for the ride height.

Re: couple questions regarding struts/springs (.RJ)
i shortened the bumpstops to one inch each and im going to buy those ground control extension mounts for the front. you think that would help? i never got a chance to throw the GCs back after trimming the bumpstop. it might not be resting on them anymore. but you think it would be better now?
maybe F 400 R 475ish?

I'm not sure what you dont understand.
If you have rubbing or bottoming issues you need stiffer springs or you need to raise the car. Its very simple... has nothing to do with wheel gap or "tuck".

Were you supposed to cut the bumpstops during the install??? If they are stock size, they might be too big.
Just a guess...
