couple of questions

couple of questions
my buddy has a 95 ej1. its got like 14x,xxx miles and lately start pulling to the left, no accidents or anything. not only that but the steering wheel shakes alot when idling in neutral. also from a dead stop reverse grinds real bad, thats the only gear that does that too. well thats it, any help would be greatly appreciated

Reverse will grind because it is not a synchronized gear. Put the car in another gear first and then into reverse.
Most pulls are in the tires. Check your tire pressure and also the general shap and integrity of the tires.
As for the steering wheel shaking badly at idle, pop your hood and start the engine. Watch the steering shaft and everything around it. Make sure nothing is rubbing on it. Check the power steering fluid level. Does the pump whine? Does the engine shake alot at idle?

This is true with just about any older Honda that I've owned.

Actually alot of brand new vehicles will do this as well. I've seen cars come right off of the delivery truck from the factory that do it. Really doesn't hurt anything as long as it is not forced into gear.

well for the pulling, were p[retty sure it isnt the tires because weve had those checked, so could it be the tierods or myabe too much toe out, something to do with the alignment? also, couldnt the reverse grinding be a sign of a bad clutch, he got the car from his sister and she used to beat it so, yeah

When you say it pulls do you mean that the wheel is not straight or do you mean when you are driving in a straight line and let go of the wheel the car pulls to one side?
