from a coupe to a hatch
hey guys i wanna get a ek hatch and sell my coupe. im wondering..im not completely sure but i wanan make sure of this..i gota custom Tanabe exhaust on my 98 ex coupe. i wanna no if it will fit on a 96-00 hatchback. any help is appreciated. flamers save ur crap for sum1 else

It should, im not 100% on that, but the bends are the same, if anything, you will have to get it shortened at a muffler shop, no biggy.

it will fit . i put an exhaust of a 98 coupe on my99 hatch and all that needed to be done was shortened a liitle bit like 97Ej6mike said

I have the exhaust from a ej8 coupe on my Ej6 Sedan. Also, the sideskirts fit both as well. I love how things are interchangable

thnsk u guys but does any1 else have any other imput? im trying 2 b 100% sure b4 i go buy a hatch and hav 2 end up getn rid of my 3 month old 500$exhaust

they will take a small section out of the striaght area just after your header/cat, and re-weld it, so the exhaust lines up correctly. as i mentioned before, all the bends are the same for the most part, its not too complicated. Can be done for $50 or less at your local muffler shop.
