white -> white
orange/blue -> green
white/blue -> red
blue/green -> yellow
blue/yellow -> black
yellow/green -> yellow/green

Blue -> blue

yo just buy the harness. trust me its a whole lot easier. they are like 30.00 on Password Jdm. I wired up my dizzy from a few different threads online and none of them were right.

The easiest and best way (IMO) is to wire it by pin placement, not by color. Here's a diagram I put together from looking at different service manuals:

I put 2 colors for some of them, because in the manual it had each side of the plug colored differently...I don't know why.

thats what i did to mine, OBD2 car OBD1 dizzy, i just matched the wire pin placement and i think the colors match up too possibly, but mine works perfectly fine now after i replaced the shity cheap igniter with the one from my OBD2 dizzy, otherwise, the only difference between the OBD1/2 dizzys is the casting that mounts to the head, its been said that the OBD2 dizzys have better parts in them, and i can believe that since my igniter almost went out in less than 20 miles, if you wanted to, you could take out the internals from your OBD1 and put them in the OBD2 dizzy, that way you wont have to mess around with the wiring.
otherwise, if your to lazy to do any of that and have enough money and time, buy a conversion harness, or do what i did and make your own from junkyard wiring harness plugs!
hopefully that settles any questions you might have, and thanks USDM EG for trying to help with my head swap, i finally got it figured out and its running strong, now i just need to get my turbo on it!
