First day with ITR swap i get pulled over leaving my work. 3 sheriffs cut me a break with the carb numers, but my tranny vin number plate isnt there. I was never aware of there being such a thing. I bought the car with a b16, and am using the b16 transmission on my b18c.

Please let me know what i can do here, they were saying they crushed the last guys car that had "all this stuff" on it. I doubt they would crush a car for a "stolen" engine. But please guys help me out a have a week to fix it.

Similar thing happened to a friend of mines. They ended up towing his car for like a month, took his tranny out without him knowing and made him pay for the labor and the storage fee. Pretty stupid if you ask me. He had a receipt from the shop that he bought it from, but the cop said that it doesn't matter. You can try to finding someone that bought a brand new tranny from Honda/Acura because when you buy a new tranny, it doesn't come with vin tags. You can try using that excuse. good luck.
