Coolant problems OH MY HELP
Second time i posted about this and i find it hard to believe it is my head gasket but anyways...here it is
Majority of the time it runs fine...Sometimes are a long drive or a couple of hard races i notice my temp gauge at hot...Valve cover isnt hot like it would be if it was overheating and the coolant isnt hot enough to burn you...
Anyways when it gets hot like that i pop the hood and notice moisture from coolant by the overflow tank...no where else...i havent noticed any puddles or drips from anywhere besides the overflow tank lid when it does this...but the lid is very tight...any ideas?

It is normal for the overflow tank to fill when the engine gets hot. I would make sure your radiator cap is good, it may be bleeding off pressure too soon. If the car gets hot after hard racing you may just not have enough cooling capacity. Is your radiator old? Also, is your car automatic?

Re: Coolant problems OH MY HELP (old man neri)
Yes it is the right mix and if i am leaking coolant when i race...it is probably new coolant right?...Yes i believe i said i have to refill it...and it is not filling my coolant tank at all...The moisture is over the OVERFLOW TANK not the actual radiator...
