Everyone starts out a Newbie, so the best thing we can do is help him out and teach him.
As far as the clean look, it depends on you. Some people think JDM is the cleanest look, while others think that stock sleeper is the best.
Personally, it shouldnt matter what others think, (unless your going for show quality) Your the one thats going to be driving it.
http://www.teamdelsol.com == They list almost every bodykit for delsols, plus they have a lot of nice articles. I would suggest you read up on everything before you do anything to your delsol.

Suspension, new wheels/tires, engine performance (intake, headers, exhaust, turbo, engine swap, Nitrous, etc)
What model del Sol do you have? S, Si, or VTEC?

i think delsol looks BEST with....
1-piece JDM headlights
Mugen bodykit
Mugen spoiler
2" drop
15" wheels
Personally I think that's some "cool stuff for a del sol"

Gotta love the 96-97. I like the no fog bumper. But hey, it's personal preference.
Looks mean IMO

i really like that front bumepr too. it's not so much the absence of the auxiliary lights (which aren't too great), but the lower air dam is DOPE. looks kinda like a jdm itr front air dam.

personally i don't like big body kits either, but i think street figher 1 body kit is pretty clean and instead of clear corners i suggest the smoked out headlights...those r hella clean...and oh yea; the most important thing is STAY AWAY from the altezzas

Del Sols look pretty good with subtle body kits I think. Just make sure it's functional and done right.

Go find a junkyard search and just search. You can probably pick one up for cheaper. Any bumper you get will probably need to be painted so if it's primered or not doesn't really matter.

I remember reading about one guy painting his Sol corners amber and it looked very good judging by the photos. Try searching through the archives.
