Converting auto to manual
Hey guys i got a 97 civic dx thats an automatic and i was wondering how hard it will be to switch the auto for a stick. Im thinking of going B18c5 all the way but i need help on the converting so anybuddy got any tips or ideas?

It should be easy since you will be swapping in a different motor already just install clutch pedal/master cylinder , lines and shift linkage.
96-00 civics don't need welding on the pocket for 5spd convertions like 92-95 all you need is the mounts for the tranny.

All you do is intsall the shiftlinkage and pedal and lines(junkyard items if you search).
Then for the swap just find someone to swap it in and they could connect the linkage and slave cylinder.

^^^ i am pritty sure that u cant just add a clutch peddle to the automatic peddles (wide break peddle) so just go get one from the junk year. and also to make it easier you can put in EG peddles in you Ek they are interchangeable my brother did it on his 96 ek coup and he did an automatic single cam and dropped a b series in it
