Confused. IF i get a short shifter for my stock civic but i will get a swap soon
Pls help
I have a stock civic cx and want a short shifter
But i will get a DOCH swap
would i need a new DOCH short shifter if i get a soch short shifter for now?
Also about shift bushing im confused
Bec they sell DOCH or a SOCH short shifter and bushing
I have a civic SOCH
my swap will be a DOCH
very confused want to buy the right one that i will need. PLs if you know help me out

It's not SOCH or DOCH.
It's SOHC and DOHC.
If I'm thinking correctly, all 96-up Civics and 94-up Integra short shifters are compatible. I could be wrong though.

save yoru money and buy a dohc shifter. instead of a sohc it wont fit.

single over cam head....and dual over cam head....lol, i had the same prob with the shortshifter thing and the gsr and civic shortshifter are not compatible because of where neutral sits on the civic compared to the gsr's two bend shifter....
but...the b16 shortshifter looks similar to the civic on with the one bend shifter....so that might work....but i dont know, with the bushing, get the DOHC ones because you are going to use the twin cam shift lnkage...

Some of you guys say that you need to change out the shifter but I never hear of people saying that when they do a swap. Can anyone who has done this help us out. It something I am unsure about and want to know.
