colour for lip
ok, i just got a type r front and back lip (yeah i know, but i got it really cheap)
my car needs a paint job (sometimes next year or so) but i'm putting on the lip this year.
should i paint the front lip white (my EG hatch is white) so it somewhat match (because the white on my bumper is fading)
or should i paint it black?

well, black so you cant really see it much unless you really look at it because my hatch is white

that's what i thought too, but just needed some opinions. i've seen matched and black lips, both looks nice, but type r is too agrresive looking when paint to match

Re: colour for lip (ThunderLips)
Flat black, please don't paint it.
It matches and complements the car so much better when it is flat black to match the other trim pieces.
The best stuff to use to paint it flat black is Duplacolor flat black trim paint. you can get it at autozone and walmart.

as stated, matching it would be rather agressive, but i think it would look pretty damn good. i don't like white cars very much (just too overbearing a colour for me), but i'd match it. how about you post some of the pics you've seen, maybe that can help.
