I'm looking to get some coilovers for my ek.. I'm torn between 3 brands... Racelandusa, Blackworks racing, and function and form... Anyone have any feed back on these three?

Well, Raceland is ****, and BWR is ****. F&F isn't the best thing I've ever ridden on, but for the price, they're good.

Look into something thats quality. If your serious about a coil over set up, be willing to spend at least $600 or you shouldn't be modifying cars. Ground Control/Koni yellow is a tried and true set up (i run it), Progress, AMR i believe, tein, etc. Also, is this purely just dropping it for looks or are you planning on doing anything? Autocross or track? what is ur budget? Other current suspension mods?

The spring and damping rates are non-adjustable, but they're perfectly matched for the 96-00 chassis. Feel everything in the road, but once you're over it, it's done. No bouncing, no skipping around, no drama. You hit the pot hole, you know it was there, but it's done.

Out of the 3 I'd have to steer the OP to F&F. It not really a quality bit of kit but I guess it gets the job done and you get what you pay for. From what I hear about the other two, they're probably similar. Would I ever put them on my car? Hell no. Give me a company with proven history, R&D and real racing background over knock-offs any day.

I just hope F&F is no longer shipping out shocks that leak. Seen about half-a-dozen instances where buyers reported leaky shocks new in box.

Please refer to the stickies at the top of the forum and get back to us. Please feel free to private message me or post a new thread once you've done a little homework. This question gets beaten to death regularly.
