Default Inexpensive EK full coilovers?

My friend wants to lower his car with some cheaper full coilovers (i.e shock/spring combo)

If he just daily drivers his car(never ever going to see a "canyon run, autox, track day) , anyone have experience with drop zones or any of the other ebay brands?

Cheapest Teins are like $600 right?

Anyone have some used Omni Powers fs?
Thanks.

Look into omni's. http://www.omnipowerusa.com. Just get the streets though, not the sports (too stiff).

Just get some Skunk 2 coilovers and tokicos all around if its just to drop the car. If you want some performance, get the tein SS... about $1000, but Im guessing thats not the price range your looking for. The omni coilovers cheaper than the tein SS dont allow you to change the damper settings, but thats not to bad if hes looking for just daily driver, and they are like 6-700 bucks. Good luck.

Hayame and Nex coilovers are around 575 shipped.

my friend has hayames and he loves them

i talked to another guy with NEX and he said it was the best upgrade he's done for his civic.

The words "inexpensive" and "full-coilover" shouldn't be in the same sentence. You get what you pay for.

Omnipower's pimp your mom.

They are frickin awesome for the money, although I wouldn't recommend their front camber kits, got some "bumping" problems with mine.........

And get the sport ones and don't be a *****, take the bumps like a man, it's worth it.

this thread contains so much gayness it's not even funny

coilovers are for race cars or those with massive offset weight reduction

tell him to pick up neuspeed sports and bilsteins non adjustable shocks, it will be comfortable and handle very well

If he absolutely has to have coilovers than shortened konis and ground controls

omnipower is junk3 in disguise

You sir, are now my bitch.

Have you ever riden on omnipowers? Don't open your mouth if you don't know anything about what everyone else is talking about.

Ground controls? While he's at autozone picking those up, he needs to get an apc muffler and some windshield stickers.

Ha ha your a god damn idiot

ridden on them ?

I SELL THEM

or used to but they suck *** - I still carry a couple other products

AND FYI

Omnipower has NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING

Ground Control has international championships in both autocross and profesional and ameature levels of road racing and there advance design coilovers are by far the best suspension I've ever had

Omnipower has hype and the words of 500 trillion "kids" who've never owned a competent suspension before in there life.

Oh you SELL THEM huh? That obviously means that you know everything doesn't it?

And that also proves you've never riden on them.........

"Omnipower has NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING" because they are a new company and haven't made a reputation yet, at least not on professional levels.......

When I get professional with my autocross career and my omnipowers I'll drop you a line ............. bitch.

Why bother with coilovers then? If you just want it lowered and comfortable and don't want to spend much money just get springs and shocks, that's what i did /shrug

Gold line 1.5" lowering springs with kyb-agx gas shocks is what i have on my car, it lowers it just the right amount for me, as well as being comfortable enough to daily drive 365 days of the year.

"WHEN" you get "Proffesional" with your "autocross carreer" - lol wtf!?!

you should come out to the SCCA so pac region where I currently have been a participant for 6 years - Also I happen to carry a pro class license with SCCA and am going for my NASA pro license this year.

so bring it on

And FYI as part of a search for suspension on my honda challenge car I did almost a full day of testing on omnipowers against teins, and progress and finally setled on a highly modified version of the IAS coilovers.
