Coilover problem

Coilover problem
i am trying to install my new coilovers but i cant get the top-hats that came with them to fit...if i put them on then the strut doesnt come up thorough the strut tower enough to put the screw on it.......any help??

i think we had this same problem installing some ground controls. we had to cut about and inch or an inch and half off the top hat black things with a hack saw for it to fit right hopefully talking about the same thing here

yeah i just installed ground control coilovers today and i had to cut the bump stop thing and the black thing down to 1 and a half inches....thats what the directions said to do
