Code 41!! Anybody has had this 02 heater code??
My ecu is throwing code 41, 02 sensor heater. I dont know how many miles the sensor has but it looks almost new on the outside (car has 110k miles). Has anybody had this problem? Can I run with it fine or should I unplugg the 02 sensor better and run open loop? Thanks

I already did the ecu reset thing and I guess Ill follow helms instructions on testing it.
If i have to replace it, do you recomend 02 sensors from oxygensensors.com, theyre walker brand and only $65 with the oem plug or should i get a genuine honda from a dealer (bosch I think) or which one do you guys recomend?

You can do 2 things here.
1.) Change the O2 sensor from the header.
2.) Check and see if the wires or connectors haven't touched the header and melted. (That happened to me on my DC header, the connector melted.)
You can't reset a code 41 by the way. At least that's what I've been told.

I had this problem with a brand new aftermarket O2... I replaced it with a used OEM honda 02... problem solved... the 02 sensor is definately a part that you want to be original A bad 02 can also conataminate/ruin your cat....

I have that same problem right now. I am gonna replace my aftermarket 02 with a different, OEM one and see if it helps.

I found out that the 02 sensor I have is practically new (OEM Denso in honda package), I even have the box (the previous owner gave me a large box of new parts and used ****). The previous owner must have had the same problem so his mechanic changed the 02 sensor and as the cel wouldnt go away (maybe because of another thing) he took the cel bulb out of the instrument cluster so that everything would seem alright.
So if the 02 sensor is practically new and it seems the plug conecting the 02 sensor to the wiring harness is ok I will do the step by step troubleshooting that is described in the helms manual and post results here so you guys can help me. If anyone has had this happen before can you tell me what it was specifically so I check that first. THANKS
