Default CODE 10 : intake air temp. SOMEBODY

just swapped this motor . d15z1 into a 94 or 95 civic ex. p28 ecu. ex harness. did not throw this code in other engine. it has a d16z6 intake manifold. did i hook up a sensor wrong? manifold causing this somehow? i double checked the sensors. one long flash is ten-correct?
advice is appreciated.

z1 is a VX motor? if so why would you run a p28 when the motors are completely different?

the sensor could be bad.
take your sensor that was working fine out of your old manifold and put it into the new manifold.

The purposes of vtec and vtec-e are completely different. Now if the purpose is just to drive then its ok if it runs fine, but for performance
