Default clutch question

i currently have an ACT stage 1 clutch in my gsr trans with maybe 25k on the clutch. i bought a itr trans and fidanza flywheel thats gonna go in soon. my guestion is, (a)should i get a new clutch while im at it, (b)use this one, (c)or use this but get a new pressure plate and disc? if i go with the last option, is that all i will need? also can i get a "beefier" disc or pp (like from a stage 2 clucth or soemthin)or whatever?

sorry if its confusing, im confused on it too. i dont know jack about clutchs
thanks

What are you trying to do? NA? Turbo? Did you drop the clutch often? If you are confident that it is strong, stay with it, if not, I'd go with something like a Clutchmasters Stage 2 or 3. If you're going to stay NA, get something full faced. If you're going for Turbo, go with a Clutchmasters Stage 4 (4 puck sprung) as it will drive almost like stock IMO.

inspect the PP for bent fingers or excessive wear, and just replace the disk if all is well. on your next clutch id recommend replacing the PP

if i was you...forget waiting to put in the new tranny and flywheel i'd do that **** right now.... hahaha you should get a new Clutch....why use and old one since u already have the tranny off and what if u put the tranny on and a week later u have to change clutches, thats not worth the time...so i'd change it while its out...

totally agree unless it looks brand new I would take the time and money to change it out now. Save yourself some time and headaches of having to do the same thing in a month.

I have a all motor b16 with 187@ the wheels. Been there done that and got the t-shirt when it comes to clutches.

I would put a duel pressure plate, with a new disc with copper pucks, there should be 6 pucks on the dick if I can remember.
And if you have a strong leg get a plate without springs around the hub...

13x8.5x22 inch mickys leaving the light at 8500 and I still get 4th gear chirping on the street....

Don't spend all kinds of cash, My clutch was $500.00 Cdn Max
Good Luck
