Default Clutch Pedal Problem

Hi everyone I just installed the HCP EG-18C kit on my car. I'm using a cable tranny in a 93 Civic hydro car. Well anyhow, now that everything is done, when I step down on the clutch pedal, it doesn't come back up. It's like stuck. I have to manually pull the pedal back for it to come back to it's orignal position. I have tried bleeding the slave cylinder, but no matter how many times I bleed it, there are always bubbles in the fluid and the pedal still doesn't pop back up by itself. I am out of ideas at this point. What do you guys think is the problem? The pedal worked fine before I did my swap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, it's a cable tranny, but the car is hydro. I bought the HCP kit that allows a cable tranny to work with a hydro car.

on the hydro conversion, the bleeder is at the bottom. it is a ************ to bleed. it took me over an hour to bleed one we did a swap in. the easiest thing to do is reverse bleed, or use a vacula. just keep bleeding it. it will take a while.

So the pedal being stuck is because of the slave cylinder needing to be bleeded correct?

check for leaks, sounds like your taking in air when you bleed it?
make sure the reservoir isn't empty

Well, I have a Craftsman vacuum pump that I bought from Sears. I fill the reservoir with brake fluid and I just suck the liquid through the slave cylinder bleeder screw using the pump. Is that the correct way?

The way that i do it is get a hose and a small bottle of brake fluid, and stick the hose in the brake fluid and have it on the bleeder screw. Then i have someone pump the clutch while the screw is open until it gets hard for them. Also watch the clutch reservoir going down and fill with brake fluid (or any fluid you use for your clutch). Takes a good while.

Im not to familiar with the craftsman vacuum pump.

the vacuum pump is a good way to do it, but with the hydro/ cable conversion. the bleeder is at the bottom, the air gets trapped up at the top thats why it is so hard to bleed.
