Default Clutch fork question

Can anyone tell me if the clutch fork from a hydro D-series will work properly on a hydro B-series? I have heard both that it will and wont.

Thanks in advance.

-Alex.

why not just buy a b series fork and be sure. best thing to do is go to majestic Honda.com or call ur local dealer and get the part number on both if the part number is the same then they both interchange if not then they are probably different.

I would say no, just because you would think that the b series starter would work on a d trans, but if you think about the rest of the inner working then all my comon-sense would say nope nope nope , but honda is the master producer of interchangable parts.

I am leaning toward no, but with the availability of D-series trans/parts cheap, I want it to be true.
