got a clutch fork from a gsr, its going to be put into my D16y8......just wondering if they are the same, and will the work

ek dc eg...those are not trannys those are Car codes... but if you got that out of a gsr tranny witch would be a b-series then i dont think it will fit.

i am just wondering, because a friend of my used a fork from a civic on his tag, and it worked.....

and now i got my hands on a tag fork, for my d16y8.....seems like it will fit.....just wondering if they will work......(place the fork on the tranny.....seems like it would work.....by eyeballing.....i am prob wrong....)
