clunking rear end after strut install ej8 coupe
I just installed my skunk2 springs with skunk2 sport shocks this past week. Now every time I go over a speed bump or imperfections in the road I hear a clunking noise from the rear end of the car. Has anyone had this problem or kno how to get rid of the annoying clunk?

its not the bushings. did you retighten the nut holding the strut down onto the strut mount once you put the car on the ground?? (on my illuminas it required using an allen key and a ratcheting box wrench) my suspension did that for months before i figured it out.

Yeah I did that earlier today and no luck? Someone at my job said to torque the self locking nut on top of the strut but its basically impossible.

i had the same problem with my eg.... i forgot to install the washer on top of the strut, i had the bolt in place but without the washer the rubber bushing pushed itsself off the strut... lucky it stayed in the engine bay
