I've already put in a JDM cluster, changed my clock to amber...now I'm doing the same with the climate control, however my question is not about the colour change.

Q: On the climate control ***** there are little clear sections that look like they're supposed to light up. I've taken apart the climate control and can see that this is what was intended. How come it doesnt work? is there a way to make the **** light up?

By the way this is on an EG (EJ1...whatever you wanna call it!)

 

I think this clear sections were intended to accent the ***** instead of leaving it grey. You know, give the Civic a little class.

 

haha "class"...there is a small gap in the plastic under the bulb. Then that clear piece follows along it. Its the same way the JDM/Integra cluster's needles glow red.
I think Hondas intent was to have it light up, but it sure doesnt work

I'm trying to get it to light up, I think I have found a solution
