Auto ECU will work fine. You'll only get a check engine light. If you convert your ecu, you wont have the CEL on anymore... either way.. it doesnt affect speedo.. My friend handed me the car back with the original unmoded ecu and ran fine. Converted it 2 days later since I don't like yellow lights staring at me all day

eveything works fine other then the speedo. but the engine was origanally a auto motor and its the same auto ECU that came with the motor. as far as the CEL it doesnt come on. the only thing wrong with it is my Speedometer, and Its hard to start(first start up after engine cools) then it idels high and then the idel goes up and down constantly.i check the IACV and it seems to be fine. I adjustaded the screw on the throttle body and it dont make a diff.
