Civic Si shift linkage question?
Is the shift linkage that connects to the shifter from a '99 Si the same as any EX model? I would think they are the same right? Reason i ask is because when I installed my B&M Pro Shifter, the shifter sat forward too much. I did not know if that's the way it's supposed to be or if it was the linkage. Oh and while installing I damaged my Si linkage and had to use one off an EX. It just seems to me that the EX linkage is shorter?
Thank's!

Re: Civic Si shift linkage question? (turbo Si)
I don't think the linkage is the same because the trannys are different. However, in some cases short shifters are made to fit a wide variety of models and they do not always fit perfectly from model to model. Your car may be one of those cars that don't have perfect fitment, but it still fits.
