Civic HB Exhaust Question
Ok I emailed Hmotors online (where I will be buying my B18B1 Swap from), they said the stock exhaust (92-95 Civic HB) would not bolt up the the B18B1 swap, that a flange was 180 deg. difference, I am kinda stumped about this.
Does anyone know how the exhaust setup works with a HB and a swapped B Series engine? (Particularly the B18B1 Swap)
Thanks again guys

Re: Civic HB Exhaust Question (g2tegsownsgirl)
My stock VX exhaust bolted up fine to a B16 exhaust manifold. And my B16 exhaust manifold had the same angled flange as my LS header so....it should but I'm not 100% positive

i have a eh hatch with a b18c1 and when i installed the motor, i had ordered a catco cat for a gsr. turns out that the cat looked the same as the stock civic cat but the gsr cat had a o2 bung. it was the same length and everything. i bolted the cat to the header come to find out it was too short so i had to get it extended to reach the exhaust. all you have to do is go to the muffler shop.

I appreciate your help guys but I would rather a more concrete method of hooking this up rather than having to travel every time I need a new exhaust (This car will be driven in the winter, I usually get about 2 years out of an exhaust up here before it's rotten). I have heard of a company that makes cats for swapped applications, I believe their name was Landspeed racing but there website doesn't load and I cannot find anyone who sells them. Anyone know of a similar product?

Is the problem of the B18B Header and the 92-95 Civic HB exhaust, only the distance? It's not that "offset" from each other right? Or is it the flanges are screwed up? In other words if I buy a Exhaust system for my 92-95 Civic HB, and I use the stock B18B exhaust manifold, the only problem is connecting the cat to the header and exhaust right? and only becuase it is to short right?
