Default Civic EX/Si Shocks/Springs Question

Are the shocks on the EX and Si the same? THe only difference is the springs?

any other notable differences between the EX and Si suspension?

I drive a 99 Ex coupe btw.

Thanks

The 99-00 Si has a little stiffer suspension than the other models but it's not worth spending the money on it. Just buy some springs or save and get a coilover set up.

Yeah a little stiffer, and if I'm not mistaken, the Si will sit like .25" lower

For '99-00 Si vs. EX:

- Si springs are stiffer (200f/100r vs. 165f/80r EX).
- Si dampers are different (the part numbers are different for Si vs EX).
- Si has a rear anti-roll bar (13mm).
- Si has a larger front anti-roll bar (26mm vs. 22mm EX).
- Si has different front LCAs and damper forks as well.

Overall, Si suspension is not worth swapping onto your EX unless it is all free or something. BTW, it will also raise your ride height slightly in the front.
