>adjust valve latch
>new intake manifold gasket
>new tb gasket
>no air in coolant
>adjusted screw on tb
>tried use timing gun(i cant idle wont let me)
bad fluctuating idle when connected and no check engine. when i disconnect the IAVC it idles like it suppose too and check engine turns on. when connected u can actualy hear the IAVC going crazy sucking air and pausing and it sounds wierd. im out of ideas, im being searching for solution tried everything i found.

Re: iavc problem
Ive been through this bullshit lol. You shouldve just cleaned your old iacv, but try cleaning the map sensor with air duster. Make sure the coolants hoses are on right and the iacv is on tight. Your throttle cable should have like 1/2 an inch of slack dont let that cable be too tight!

Re: iavc problem
i dont mean to intrude, but im having the same problem, and it seems like whatever I do I end up with more problems.Things I have done.
1.Flushed the coolant system
2.Replaced fuel filter
3.Clean FITV and IACV twice over with brake cleaner
4.Replace Intake Manifold gasket
5.Cleaner out the Intake Manifold with break cleaner
6.Checked TPS, but it seemed fine. (~0.45 @ closed)
7.Lubricated the throttle plate along with the spring on the TPS
8.Reset the ECU numerous times after cleaning each part.
My hypothesis: The break cleaner i used on the moving part of the IACV/FITV have cleaned them, but in the process drying them out to a point where they cannot move like like normal. Would using some sort of lube (WD-40) help at all? I will try this when I get home, but am mentioning it just incase someone has also encountered the same sort of mishap.

Re: iavc problem
I forgot to mention that my Del Sol has increasingly become more and more jerky and hesitant at lower rpm ( like its being clogged somehow), but I believe it to be the IACV for the sol fact that plugging the IACV hole from the throttle body helps smooth out the surging idle problem. It also seems logical that because its having problems when I let off the gas( at low rpm ), it is jerky and has died on me a few times. I am also thinking of just designing my own type of IACV, that just bypasses the current one. (would just let in enough oxygen for idling). Hope this helps in any way in a solution to all this.
