civic ek b16 rebuilt or b20b v
I have a ek si with a rebuilt b16a head
with a jdm b16 block with ctr pistons and b16 transmission
I hear a loud knock in the motor due to maxing out the motor on 2 & 3 gear
.
Idk if I should rebuilt the block or go jdm b20v ?
for $700. And can I still use the ctr pistons on the b20?
Thank you for taking ur time and reading my post.

Re: civic ek b16 rebuilt or b20b v
This is exclusively a technical forum, and these non-technical questions don't belong here.
For example, a question about how to rebuild a B16 engine would be appropriate here, whereas the question about whether $700 is a good deal for a rebuild or swap belongs in the Value thread at the top.
Questions about how to do a B20 swap, however, belong in the Hybrid forum.
