Hi i hav a 95 Honda civic Coupe, have a D15b Vtec automatic transmision.

im experience problems with my car and i need some help to solve them.

1) very low Idle.. sometimes when the car is cold runs fine, and when i turn the A/C or it get the operating temperature low idle comes, i checked the IACV and Replaced and the problem still.

2) when im running the car when i pull of the gas pedal, i feel like the car is braking and the RPM drop deep

3) when turn on the A/C the RPM get very low and then go up but the car has Rough Idle, someting similar happen when press the break, turn the steering wheel or turn the cars light.

4) Super Bad MPG!! im getting less of 140 miles with full tank.

NO CEL, i replace spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter and the only anormal thing i cant see is that the FITV Has a broken Pipe, and no coolant hose attached.(can these problems can be caused by this?)

please a need help!! :S

fitv is the best place to start. is there any dtc's.

what do u thing about the TPS?, i was reading in other post that the deceleration problems are related to TPS, and thees deceleration problems start when i adjust the tps, can the other problems with the idle and A/C ... related to fitv?

Hi, me again

today i was working with my car, replace FITV and TPS, Deceleration problems apparently solved (need to do more test), but the low idle still ..

another observation is, when star the car idle start good but little by little it goes down.. any suggestion of what could be my problem

Does the CEL work?

Replace the PCV valve. If the low idle problem continues, adjust the idle speed (see FAQs sticky).

Bad mpg: Have you replaced the cap and rotor and adjusted the ignition timing using a timing light?

Yes! my CEL Work well,

i ckecked the PCV and looks good, even i do the test of tighten the hose and hear the click.

for the distributor cap and rotor: i will buy new distributor cap and rotor from ebay..


u said about the timing but my cars is running great so i dont know how i can verify if my car is off time

oh ok sorry , i will check that but There are some notable symptom that can be said that the engine is out of time? and sorry by my ignorance
