Im replacing my old antenna with a new manual one. I tied a string to the old antenna wire and pulled it out from the top, then i tied that same string to the new antenna wire so that it can guide it right through the whole but the string broke while i tried pulling it down through and now I cant find the hole and cant get the new wire in.

Is there a way where I can find the hole from where the wire comes in from or am I sh*t out of luck? help please!

Just unscrew the antenna base and install it properly

that is the way you install it but the string that leads the new wire into its hole broke..

Take off your a pillar on the driver aide guide antenna down under the dash problem solved

how do you take off the pillar, just pop it off?

Yes pop off the cover, and see if you can get behind the a pillar.

Also, get some stiff long wire and fish it down the antenna base through the car, should see it towards the bottom of the dash, when you can grab it, tie the new antenna to it and pull.

Report back and tell me if it worked.
