Default which chip for my p28?

I know how to chip my ecu, however I don't have the funds to buy an entire chipping kit, so my question is which would be the best chip for me. I am soon to be running a ls/vtec with stock pr4's, stock head, basically everything stock for all intensive purposes. I want to upgrade later to a s300, but thats down the road and need a decent chip now for my car. Let me know on what you guys have experiance with and what you think is the best for my set up. Thanks.

Ethan

if your going to run a chipped ecu, are you going to have some heavy mods done to your ls/vtec, or is it basically going to be stock? if it's stock, leave the ecu alone. it's only going to cause problems down the road. if not, i've heard skunk is pretty good.

I'm running a p75 basemap on a chipped P06 with a stock 99 LS, just to lean me out a little bit from stock.

i cant run a p28 stock all the fuel maps are set for sohc. you have to run at least some chip, weather its a stock honda chip out of an itr, or a skunk 2 chip, I need to do something. My other option would to buy another ecu and save my p28 for later purposes.

yeah thats what i have been thinking. i dont want to chip my p28 and hate the outcome of it. I think I'll wait until I boost my ls/vtec to chip my p28 and run a programmable chip. Thanks for the input.
