Hey guys on my 99 Civic SiR (Si in the states) the check engine light doesnt come on at all. Not even when i turn on the car. Where should i start looking to check for the problem?

The bulb in the cluster could be missing or burnt out.

did you purchase the car new? already modded?? its common sometimes for cars that have swaps w/ CEL to have the light disabled to sell the car.. also if you check the bulb and its not burnt out there is also a wire coming from the ecu to the guage cluster that can be cut also to disable it.. i know that when i needed a new o2 sensor i hated having the cel light on all the time so i took the bulb out for a couple weeks till i got the o2 sensor installed..
