Default Check engine light

#41 primary oxygen sensor heater is on when i have the car on sitting for a bit. i reset it and works fine.. what can be the problem, this is a new sensor.

this happens only sometimes. for example, if i stop at a red light for a bit. doesn't happen too much, but randomly.

anyone have suggestions? thx

Did you purchase the universal fit sensor? The universal ones commonly throw the heater code.

If it's an OEM plug-and-play sensor, then there may be a bad wire or plug, or less commonly a bad ECU.
