I think that setup is actually very cool. Don't think I'd want my turbine or my air filter down that close to the ground though.

And tuning we did, as we saw 191 rwhp with the intercooler being cooled with the nitrous spray bar! That would be 225 to 240rwhp on a DynoJet dyno, and is hitting close to 300hp at the engine!</TD></TR></TABLE>

RWHP.. meaning rear wheel horsepower? The chassis dyno.. is that like a Mustang dyno; which would explain how you got a rwhp number.

BTW, how much boost is it making? Forged internals?

take a look at the pictures a little closer and see how the turbo is hooked up, its not using the exhaust gases.

guess I'm a pessimist(sp?), but why would you go to all the trouble of showing the work, then post a pic of the finished car, complete with all the work tucked away nicely only to have a nice pic of the plate....With all the stolen threads on here, I hope he's got one helluva security setup or I'll probably be reading about his ride missining, too.

BTW, nice setup.....

OK maybe I just been away to long, why the intercooler? I use them on turbos but not on superchargers! Turbo=heat supercharger=no heat?

no, compressed air = heat

What are you talking about? Superchargers make heat. They use the same technology (albeit a different method of power is used to run them), they jam more air into the engine. The "compacting" of the air molecules causes the heat of the air to rise (lamens physics lesson).
