i have a b16 hydro tranny that came with LSD, problem is i dont know what lsd it is, can anyone help me out here

no, thats not what a ctr or itr lsd looks like.... as shown in the picture, it has a sorta washer looking thing in the middle

the only way to acurately tell what type of LSD it is, is to open the case up and look

it looks like it from an eg g/box if not mistaken it is a 1.5 way lsd stock from honda ..

you can get a b16 hydro tranny with lsd from factory...so i'm just guessing it's from the factory

yes.. certain b16's did come with lsd as an option .

well my sir2 came with the factory lsd tranny and right now i'm in the process of installing a new clutch and it doesn't have that little washer thing in there so i'm thinking its not factory.

Well, I know it ISN'T an ITR LSD (JDM or USDM). That probably didn't help.

He got his from a motor shop in LA. The motor he got was built in JAPAN. Not by some race car shop like hks or trust6 or anything like that. The motor came from a car in the J YARD. They say its a KAAZ. But you never know you have to take the thing apart and find out for yourself if you want to sell it it would be a good idea to find out what it really is.

ok, i found out what it is, its a clutch type LSD made by honda, it was in the old cable trannys... for now only the LSD is for sale
