Charging problems, i'm completely stumped
I know this car is a CRX, but this is for my cousin. I personally reside in the eg/civic del sol forums. I just need some help, please.
The car is an 89 HF. For the life of me, i cannot get the car to stay charged! I've changed the alternator ( was tested before installation.) I've changed the battery 3 times. I can't seem to figure out what it can be?????
Please help, what else could be causing the battery to drain/ car not charge? Any ideas? Thank you so much H-T.

Re: (Jmunk)
we're removing his aftermarket head unit today, what else could be draining the battery? We've verified, and not lights stay on.

Take the negative terminal off the battery. Make sure all lights are turned off and all doors are closed etc. Take a test light and touch the negative terminal with one end and ground the other side on the somewhere. If everything is turned off and the test light lights up, then you have a drain on the system somewhere. If the test light doesnt come on then you dont have a drain on the system.
