CEL'S - b16a2 in 95 eg coupe
Ok so i pulled my b16a2 swap a few days ago to remove the power steering and a/c lines that have just been sitting in the car since i bought it and so that way i could properly paint the engine bay. Well after a long day's work of pulling it out , painting , and putting it back in the car, she decided she wanted to give me issue's and throw a couple of Check Engine Light's on me. the 2 CEL's it threw were - CEL #6 ECT - water temperature sensor and also #21 VTEC spool solenoid valve. I decided a good first place to check would obviously be where to 2 sensors are on the front of the block and head. So i looked and both of them and seemed to be worn at the connection points where they ran into the sensor itself. One actually broke off so i de-pinned it and redid the wire the way it was and put it back into it's corresponding hole. Since i was in the area and they were all looking rough i decided to redo all 4 of them and make sure they were back to new. Both sensors are fully plugged in with both pins correctly put into them. But the car is still throwing the same 2 code's. The car did not have any CEL's before the motor was pulled and put back in. Needless to say this has been a big headache the past few days and has been driving me nutts cause i can not stand seeing that damn yellow light on my dash and i can't seem to find the issue here. So if anybody has any clue's or ideas or even advice for troubleshooting these 2 issue's that would be awesome. Thanks in advance !
CEL is not a instant CEL. When you turn the key to the fully on posistion it takes about 4-5 seconds of it being fully forward for the CEL to then trip and show up on the dash
Got rid of CEL #6 and CEL #21 but car is now throwing CEL #22 VTEC pressure valve . This is my only CEL and i am currently puzzled as to how to fix it or what the real problem actually is. PLEASE HELP

Re: CEL'S - b16a2 in 95 eg coupe
So i was able to get rid of the CEL #6 water temperature sensor by depinning the sensor and putting the wires in the sensor on the block directly. the connector itself is bad. it looks slightly melted. So i will need a new connector for the sensor on the block. bad i realized after redoing that wiring i left the single wire connector that goes on the top of the VTEC solenoid off which caused it throw CEL #21 VTEC spool solenoid valve. Now after i put the connector back on the solenoid the car is now throwing CEL #22 VTEC pressure valve . So i am still puzzled as what the hell the problem is. Any help would be greatly appritiated !
