CEL on my EK hatch (HELP ME)
Ok, first off..I went to Autozone to get it checked up..and 2 Reasons:
1.) Heater Condition (Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank sensor 1)
Explanation: The powertrain control module monitors the oxygen sensor heater.
Probable cause:
1. -o2 Sensor defective
2. -Poor connection at oxygen sensor
3. -Check circuit-fuse
For the o2 sensor, I changed the Top one from buying a new one at Autozone, and I noticed theres another one at the bottom too..Should i go buy the other piece? I'm not sure either thats why I'm here for help..
On to the second reason
2.) Circuit condition or idle speed higer/lower than expected.
Explanation: The ECM has detected that the IAC counts are higher or lower than expected, the engine speed is not in its expected range.(I haven't seen a change in the Speedometer but the RPM is a little off..)
Probable cause:
1. -Vacuum Leak on engine
2. -Dirty throttle body
3. -IAC motor defective
4. -Poor electrical connection to the IAC valve
ALL THE HELP I CAN GET Will be helpful! Please help! Emissions test in May 16, gotta get the CEL outta the way! ha

Re: CEL on my EK hatch (HELP ME)
The CEL was for the "top" or primary/sensor 1 so no need to change the secondary/bottom. Also search on here for cleaning your IACV but if that doesn't work after you clean it and clear the codes then you may need a new one.
