Default Cel code 0

My eg with b16b swap running neptune ecu for more then 4 years without any issue, today lighted up check engine with cel code 0.

Car is still starting up, but idles little high I feel cause normal it idles around 800 and 1200RPM but now it idles around 1200 and 1500RPM. Launch control works perfect, engine revs up perfect and drives around perfect. Check engine light is still there with cel code 0.

I removed the ecu, clean the connections, replaced the SST chip with one mapped with Chrome but cel code 0 is still there.

I took out all the connections engine harness and clean them. Cel code 0 is still there.

I was speeding up in 3th gear, hitting the rev limit, shifting to 4th the check engine light came on.

Any idea what it could be?

Inspect the ecu itself for any burnt marks.

The only way you see it is if you know what to look for, truthfully the only ones who are capable of that are engineers who work on circuit boards. Every diode on that board has a purpose.

I know this because I use to work under an experience Tv repairman who has now retired.

Cel is not blinking. It stays stable, but car starts up, run and rev up fine. Service connector is not jumped. I am running a neptune program which dont need to jump service connector in order to read codes. With the engine off, just I use to hit the gas till the ground and put the switch ON, there if it stays stable, that means no cel code. When I have a cel code it goes off and starts blinking for the count. Last I had cel code 15 which was the module in the distributor. Now it turns off and no blinking, so i guessed code 0.

So before you never had a CEL until recently your ecu decided to take a **** and retire itself with a code 0? The reason why I ask is because I had a similar issue where I had multiple CEL's and 1 of them was a 0. I cleared up the other codes by fixing the issue and i reset the ecu and 0 was gone.

Well it's over...!!!

Problem solved.

1 of the 3 wires from harness to TPS connector was broken.

I fixed it, and VIOLA...! Check engine light was gone.

Special thanks to all who tried to help me figure this error out.
