Just went throught the same dame thing with my D16Y6. TDC sensor went bad,car started idleing like ****, had to get a new distributor. There is pretty much no way around getting a new one, if you look at the sensor it would be easy to replace the bad thing is that you can' t just buy the sensor by itself.

did you do that on a dyno ?`
so -4 = pushing the power up or down ?

did your belt or the cam gear slip? I tell ya I don't trust those things it's not worth a few extra hp's to me.

i didn't dyno it.. when i had my stock ecu in the car i was at +2.. it felt good with the stock ecu.. i chipped it with the xs chip and it was instant bog... so i took it to the track.. ran shitty times.. mid 15's with it at stock timing.. took it to a -1.. and down.. as i went down the times went down.. -5 was to much.. lost power, but still faster than anythig above it.. so -4 was it for me.. felt good.. felt like it lost a lil bit of low end but i could feel vtec.. i mean. grabbed a 14.8.. so it's all good with me.. and umm.. it didn't slip on the belt.. the gear didn't slip either.. thanks guys..
