Default Cel 7 for TPS..is there a way to fix this without replacing sensor?

I have a 99 ek hatch with jdm si-R motor. Mods consist of blox intake manifold and 65 mm tb. The ecu is showing a cel 7. When I start the motor up, it revs at around 2k for about 5 seconds. But then the check light comes on, it goes to around 3k. Is it just a bad tps? Any help is appreciated..Thanks in advance.

pick up a manual for that engine, and go through the troubleshooting flowchart for the tps. You can find them free pretty easily, just search.
